Valérie TIERSEN is a finalist in the Les Margaret competition.

Launched in 2013 by the JFD, the Margaret Awards recognize women entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in Europe and Africa each year, whose projects and innovations address the major challenges facing our society. The award is named after Margaret Hamilton, director of the software engineering division who developed the embedded software for NASA’s Apollo space program. It was thanks to Margaret Hamilton’s contribution that humans first walked on the Moon. Through the Margaret Awards, the JFD supports the growth and international reach of startups and corporate initiatives led by European and African women.
