At the 4th Space Conference held in Cannes, Green Score Capital was recognized for its commitment to and contribution to the use of space technology for environmental benefit. This unexpected and deeply moving recognition was a source of great joy for Valérie Tiersen, the company’s founder and president.

This recognition was presented by Françoise Bruneteaux, Deputy Mayor of Cannes, responsible for the environment and sustainable development, and by Candace Johnson, a leading figure in the European space sector and co-founder of SES. A pioneer in the field, she pays tribute to the women in the sector still too few in number and inspires new generations.

This day was also marked by some wonderful encounters, including one with Claudie Haigneré, a leading scientific figure and the first French female astronaut, as well as a reunion with Maji-da Abdi, a committed and inspiring woman.

The award received goes beyond mere symbolism: it underscores the importance of the support from long-standing partners. The SAFE Cluster, represented by Loïc Chanvillard, Eleonora G., and Estelle Jouve, has supported Green Score Capital since its inception and remains a vital partner in its development.
