Environmental labeling for textiles is for tomorrow, be ready

A life cycle analysis

We analyze your products, just as we analyze your business across the entire value chain, from your raw material sourcing to the end-of-life of your products.

Environmental impact calculation – PEF compliant and French labeling

We automate the calculation of product environmental scores using the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) method, recognized by the European Commission, and we also meet the requirements of the French Ecobalyse environmental labeling system.

  • Complete Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) from raw material to end-of-life
  • Compliance with the latest methodological requirements
  • Large-scale calculations for all collections
  • Export formats adapted for public communication or internal management
  • Declarations on the government portal

A solution to anticipate regulatory obligations while increasing transparency for consumers.

Eco-design simulator – From data to action

Beyond compliance, our platform identifies concrete levers for reducing impact throughout the entire product value chain.

  • Comparison of the environmental impacts of different materials, processes, or sourcing locations
  • Scenario simulations to guide design and development teams
  • Visualization of trade-offs between impact indicators (e.g., water consumption vs. carbon footprint)

A tool for integrating eco-design from the creative phase, without sacrificing innovation or economic performance.

Space expertise – A broader strategic vision

For the most committed brands, we offer an optional module based on high-resolution geospatial data for more detailed and localized environmental analysis.

  • Identification of risks related to deforestation, water stress, or biodiversity in supply areas
  • Monitoring of regional vulnerabilities and supply chain exposure
  • Support for responsible sourcing strategies based on scientific data

Use case: mapping cotton-growing regions to assess seasonal water stress and proximity to protected ecosystems – enriching traditional LCA analysis.

Ecobalysis

The Écobalyse standard is a French methodology for environmental product labeling, designed to enhance the transparency and comparability of environmental impacts.

It allows for the evaluation of products according to several key indicators (greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, eutrophication, etc.) and provides an environmental rating that is easy for consumers to understand.

Green Score Capital integrates this methodology into its Footprint Target® platform, in order to support textile players in their compliance and in the publication of their environmental labeling sheets.

“What immediately interested me was the possibility of having a complete understanding of the real impact of our activity at all levels, and of finding levers for action to gradually transform the way we work, taking into account price and efficiency constraints. We didn’t have this visibility and these answers until now.”

Partnership with Trimco Group

Green Score Capital is collaborating with Trimco Group and several international brands to accelerate the implementation of the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) in the textile industry.

This initiative aims to structure data collection, improve the reliability of life cycle assessments (LCAs), and enable textile companies to evaluate the environmental impact of their products according to future European standards.

Our strength

Depending on the country of origin of your raw materials, the environmental impact varies: for cotton, for example, the requirements for water, pesticides, and cultivated land can vary from 1 to 4.

Spatial data allows us to contextualize these impacts and gain greater precision.
